JoAnn Clinton - LMT, CLT

I like to consider myself a "Corporate American Refugee". The first part of my professional career was in IT. I was a Systems Engineer for Apollo Education Group. I have 23 years' experience in the IT field. My degree is in Computer Science. I received that degree from SUNY Polytech Institute in 1994.

I became fascinated with the Healing Arts in 2004. I attended Reiki training and knew I wanted to learn more about the body's innate ability to heal. Woo-woo aside, I found myself delving deeper into anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and the human energy field.

Disenchanted with Corporate America and arduous hours of conference calls along with late-night system implementations, I decided it was time for a life change. That life change came in the form of massage school. I wanted to do work that I enjoyed, found meaningful and help people in a profound way.

I Specialize In:

Improving mobility and quality of life
Helping breast cancer survivors who suffer from lymphedema
Reducing injury recovery times
Treating clients who suffered traumatic brain injuries
Targeted neck and shoulder

Education and Training

I have completed 220 hours of training with the following Educational Institutes:

Klose Institute, Chikly Institute, LMT Success Group

In addition, I have completed 144 hours of Craniosacral Therapy training with the Upledger Institute.

SCNM - Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition (to be completed in Summer 2022)

Additional Certification

I've recently received my certification in Nutrition. After working with bodies for 8 years, I realized that nutrition plays a key role in pain management and managing lymphedema. I used this program to get my health back on track after the lockdown.
